4 scholarships of £4,250 (UK/EU students) and four scholarships of £7,000 (International students) are now available for the new University of Strathclyde MSc in Global Sustainable Cities, an innovative programme focused on tackling major urban opportunities and issues. These scholarships will be awarded to candidates via an essay-writing competition, exploring an issue relevant to sustainable cities.
The MSc essay scholarship competition provides an opportunity for students to reflect on the key urban sustainability challenges facing city designers, planners and leaders, and to explore the opportunities that adopting a sustainable city agenda can create.

The course provides graduates with the skills and understanding to become leaders in the design and delivery of sustainable city strategies. Uniquely, the Masters in Global Sustainable Cities is based on real world experience gained from international sustainable city projects.
